Leaving a Review

If you used the service, a review helps the next person decide. The most useful reviews say what was made or fitted, how many windows, what it cost and how the curtains have held up.

Reading Supplier Reviews

• Look for specifics. A review naming the curtains, the rooms and the result is worth more than a generic one.
• Check the type of job. A good curtain maker is not always a good track installer, and the reverse.
• Check how problems were handled. What the supplier did next is the useful part.

If Something Goes Wrong

• Raise it with the supplier first. In writing, with your quote and proof of payment.
• Keep your documents. Quote, invoice and messages.
• Escalate if needed. The Consumer Goods and Services Ombud handles many consumer disputes.
